التوترات في الشعر هو جملة الأحاسيس والمشاعر التي تصاحب الإبداع وتوجه لغته وأسلوبه وتعطي لهذا النص تفرده عن سائر النصوص التي يكتبها الشاعر لأنها تتعلق بالموقف الذي يعد حافز لكل إبداع، فالمقاربة التي تقدمها، محاولة تجاوز بعض الكيفيات النقدية الحديثة، وإن كانت تستعين بها إلى الكشف عن طبوغرافيا جديدة للنص لها من التضاريس المتباينة ما يجعل النص الذي كنا نعتقد أنه الأديم المسطح البارد، قطعة من الأرض يتوجب الضرب في مناكبها، والتوغل في شعابها، والرحلة في أصقاعها، ومفاوزها ترتفع بك حينا لتلامس الشاهق من السماء، وتنخفض بك إلى الحضيض من الوهاد، تتكسر وتتثنى، تلين وتحزن، تنبسط وتنقبض.. وتكون القراءة فيها ضربا من \"النص\".
