هذا الكتاب يدفع بمنظور [مادي واحدي] للعلاقة بين [الذهن والدماغ]، وهو، حينئذ، يسبح ضد التيار [الثنائي الجوهر]، كما أنه يدفع بمنظور [تطوري تدريجي مشترك] للعلاقة بين (الدماغ واللغة)، وهو، حينئذ، يفند الزعم [بفطرية اللغة]. ويدفع بمنظور [منظومي نسقي] للعلاقة بين (اللغة والذهن)، وهو، حينئذ، يدحض [النمذجة القالبية] للذهن واللغة كليهما؛ في محاولة تأسيسية لتفسير الظاهرة اللغوية تجريبيا؛ بوصفها نظاما من النسق العرفاني للذهن البشري. ويقول المؤلف نحن إذ نسعى إلى تأسيس ذلك المنظور في الفكر اللغوي العربي، فإننا نتوخى اضطلاعنا بنموذج لغوي: 1. ذي كفاءة تنبؤية؛ (تعليميا)، 2. وذي كفاية تفسيرية؛ (إكلينيكيا)، 3. وذي طواعية حاسوبية؛ (شبكيا).
