تعرض لنا الكاتبة في هذا الكتاب صفحات كتبت سطورها بقلم كفاح الشعب الأناضولي في مواجهة الاستعمار الغربي، وذلك في صورة رسائل تخرج هذه الملحمة النضالية إلى حيز التاريخ، بغرض أن تروي ظمأ شعبها التواق إلى نسائم الحرية، مسطرة الصفحات الأولى من كتابها بتقديم تحية إلى الشهداء، وقد هدف المترجم من ترجمته لهذه الرسائل أن يوطد أركان المحبة والإخاء بين المصريين والعثمانيين (آنذاك)، حيث دعا في تقديمه للكتاب الشعوب العربية إلى ضرورة مؤازرة الدولة العثمانية في نضالها ضد الاستعمار لأن مجدهم (برأيه) متصل بمجدها.
