يقدم المؤلف مدخلا إلى تهويد القدس يسرد فيه تاريخ عملية التهويد في فلسطين منذ عام 1948م، والتي زادت حدتها واتسع نطاقها منذ يونيو 1967م مشيرا إلى أن السياسة الإسرائيلية ارتكزت على محاولة تغيير طابع المدينة السكاني والمعماري بشكل بنيوي فاستولت السلطات الإسرائيلية على معظم الأبنية الكبيرة في المدينة واتبعت أسلوب نسف المنشآت وإزالتها لتحل محلها أخرى يهودية كما قامت بالاستيلاء على الأراضي التي يمتلكها عرب وطردهم وتوطين صهاينة بدلا منهم.
