يستعرض هذا الكتاب أعمال الفنانة السورية الأمريكية ديانا الحديد خلال منعطف هام في مسيرتها المهنية التي انطلقت إلى الشهرة في وقت قياسي، إذ أقامت الفنانة في السنوات العشر منذ نيلها درجة الماجستير في الفنون الجميلة ٢٢ معرضا فرديا في مختلف المتاحف والمعارض الفنية حول العالم. وإلى جانب تمثيلها من قبل أحد أهم الصالات الفنية في مدينة نيويورك (غاليري ماريان بوسكي)، فقد جالت أعمال الفنانة العديد من المتاحف الأوروبية، إلى جانب مشاركتها في بيناليات ومعارض جماعية دولية كبرى. وتأتي هذه المطبوعة بمناسبة أول عرض منفرد للحديد في الشرق الأوسط والذي يستضيفه رواق الفن بجامعة نيويورك أبوظبي، وهي مساحة حديثة مخصصة للمعارض على المستوى المتحفي والمنشورات الأكاديمية المواكبة للقضايا الراهنة.
