تناولت الكاتبة لوتس عبد الكريم، في كتابها الصادر حديثا عن الدار المصرية اللبنانية بعنوان \"ما يشبه السيرة\" الكثير من المواقف في حياتها ومع الأدباء والفنانين وأيضا قصتها مع الصحافة. وتقول عن كتابها هذا : \"يأتي كتابي\" ما يشبه السيرة \"ليكمل سلسلة كتبي في أدب السيرة الذاتية للآخرين عبر صلتي بهم، وكنت قريبة ممن كتبت عنهم، وبعضهم لم تسمح لي حياتي بأن أعرفهم، لكنني عشت في ظلال ما أبدعوا من فنون وآداب وقدموا أشكالا جديدة واختراقات أدبية غير مسبوقة. وتواصل : \"إن ذاتي في هذا الكتاب تصف نفسها، مثلما تصف الآخرين الذين رافقوا رحلتي الحياتية والثقافية، ولذا أسميته \"ما يشبه السيرة\" لي ولهم.
