في مدخله إلى جدلية الإنسان والطبيعة التي يثيرها عالم مراد الداغستاني يؤكد المؤلف إلى البدايات المهمة في رحلة الفنان الإبداعية حيث استطاع بحدس ووعي الفنان من ان يلتقط لقطات رائعة رغم ان تلك الصور التقطت بكاميرا بدائية بسيطة محطما القانون وما هو مألوف ومتعارف عليه مضيفا بان الداغستاني استطاع أن يحرث بتلك اللقطات الرائعة أن يحرث في أرض بكر لكي يجعل الفوتغراف لغة إنسانية مشتركة تعبر عن الأشياء بدقة، في الفصل التالي من الكتاب يتحدث المؤلف عن محاولة للدخول في تفاصيل عالم الداغستاني مشيرا إلى تميز الفنان في تصوير إنسان الأماكن المعتمة والأجواء الشعبية.
