إن عملية التقويم كإحدى وظائف الإدارة تعتبر من الركائز الأساسية التي تتطلبها إدارة المراكز والمؤسسات فإتساع الحاجات وزيادة المنافسة العالمية وتداخل عناصر البيئة كلها أمور أصبحت تستدعي بصورة متزايدة ترشيد القرارات واستغلال الطاقات المتوفرة والفرص القائمة، وهذا لا يتأتى إلا بمزيد من الاهتمام بوظائف العملية الإدارية التي يعتبر فيها تقويم الأداء عنصرا هاما، والتنظيمات الرياضية والشبابية ليست بمنأى عن هذا الاتجاه تبرز أهمية هذه الدراسة في ضوء ما تحققه من نتائج علاوة على إنها تسلط الضوء على فكر وفلسفة إدارات مراكز الشباب ومردودها على رعايتهم وما دام الشباب والإداريون هم المحور في ذلك فقد جاءت هذه الدراسة لتقويم أداء إدارات مراكز الشباب من وجهة نظر المنتسبين لأول مرة في الأردن.
