هي ٢٨ حرف فقط أم أنها أكثر من ذلك معنى وإحساسا وحكايات هذا الكتاب محاولة لاكتشاف سحر هذه الحروف وسرها وبعدها الثالث بلغة شعرية وكولاج أنيق. ابحث عن حرفك وتعرف عليه وعلى شخصيته، قصص وأسرار وحوارات وانطباعات لا تنتهي مع الحروف. إن هذا الخيال الخصب هو الذي جعل أروى تفتح لنفسها آفاقا جديدة في عالم النثر. قبل كل حرف هناك بيت شعري يبدأ بنفس الحرف الذي ستكتب عنه وكانت أغلب هذه الأبيات غزلية. الكتاب جذاب كان يتأرجح بين البلاغة القوية والبساطة في بعض الأحرف التي لا تتجاوز الصفحة. كانت الكاتبة رقيقة جدا ومتسامحة مع بعض الأحرف. لقد نعتت الكاتبة الحروف بالأصدقاء في المقدمة وتساءلت لو كانت هي حرفا فكيف ستكون؟ هل هي حرف هوائي؟ أو جوفي؟ أو حلقي؟.
