هذه مجموعة من الأبحاث / الصفحات في زوايا من الأدب العباسي : شعره ونثره، أنجزتها بالاشتراك مع عدد من طلبتي في مرحلتي الدراستين العليا والأولية، تكشف عن جوانب من ثراء هذا الأدب وقابليته لمزيد من الاكتشاف والتأويل على مر الزمان، وبتنوع المناهج النقدية وتعدد منطلقاتها الفكرية والفنية. ولطرافة بعض من موضوعات هذه البحوث وأهمية الآخر آثرت جمعها في كتاب واحد هو هذا، وقد قسمته على فصلين : الأول (في الشعر)، والثاني (في النثر)، عسى أن يفيد منها دارسو الأدب بعامة، والمعنيون بالأدب العباسي بخاصة. علما أن من هذه الأبحاث ما كان جزءا من دراسة أعم وأشمل اجتزأنا منها ما قدمناه، ومنها ما كان مستقلا بنفسه، قد يستأهل أن يكون نواة لدراسة أكبر، يقدم عليها باحث أو أكثر في المستقبل إن شاء الله.
