هذه الوثيقة دعوة للمصالحة والتآخي بين جميع المؤمنين بالأديان، بل بين المؤمنين وغير المؤمنين، وكل الأشخاص ذوي الإرادة الصالحة ؛ لتكن وثيقتنا نداء لكل ضمير حي ينبذ العنف البغيض والتطرف الأعمى، ولكل محب لمبادئ التسامح والإخاء التي تدعو لها الأديان وتشجع عليها ؛ لتكن وثيقتنا شهادة لعظمة الإيمان بالله الذي يوحد القلوب المتفرقة ويسمو بالإنسان ؛ لتكن رمزا للعناق بين الشرق والغرب، والشمال والجنوب، وبين كل من يؤمن بأن الله خلقنا لنتعارف ونتعاون ونتعايش كإخوة متحابين. هذا ما نأمله ونسعى إلى تحقيقه ؛ بغية الوصول إلى سلام عالمي ينعم به الجميع في هذه الحياة.
