ويشتمل الديوان على 47 قصيدة متنوعة المضامين حيث يقول أبو عراق لوكالة الأنباء الأردنية (بترا)، ان القافية تكون أحيانا هي المتكأ الإيقاعي وأحيانا تكون البحور المنتقاة بعناية تلقائية وأحيانا أخرى تسعفنا بالموسيقى الداخلية الشجية فيما يستلهم الشاعر التراث الكنعاني اليبوسي ويبوح ابو عراق من خلال قصائده، ما يعتمل في صدره من قهر وألم، اذ يستخدم مفردات تتلاءم والأفكار التي يريد ايصالها الى القارئ، فنجد الحرقة عند الشاعر من خلال استخدامه صيغة النداء، التي تطغى على الديوان.
