تتناول هذه الدراسة علاقات الأردن الخارجية في عهد حكومات سمير الرفاعي بين عامي 1944 و1963 م، التي تعتبر فترة مهمة من تاريخ الدولة الأردنية من أربعينيات القرن العشرين حتى ستينياته، إذ شهدت تلك الفترة أحداثا سياسية شكلت علامة فارقة في العلاقات الخارجية للأردن مع الدول العربية المجاورة وبقية دول العالم، ويتناول الكتاب طبيعة العلاقات التي تربط الأردن بالدول العربية والأجنبية.
