تضمنت الدراسة ثلاثة فصول تناولت موضوع اللسانيات الإدراكية المفهوم والنشأة والنظريات واما الفصل الثاني فقد تحدث عن تصورات الأبنية الذهنية في فضاء النحو العربي وجاء الفصل الثالث يسلط الضوء على اللسانيات الإدراكية العصبية ومفاهيمها عند العرب. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن الأسس التي قامت عليها اللسانيات الإدراكية تعتمد الموقف الذهني، إذ إن كل نظرية ذهنية / نفسية، وبموجب هذا الموقف، وقد وضع الباحث عدة فرضيات ينتج عنها أن اللغة موضوع نفسي، فضلا عن وجود موقف تأليفي، عده اللسانيون جوهر الخصائص التي انفردت بها المعرفة اللغوية.
