كتاب يبحث في علم من علوم الحديث الشريف، وهو علم مصطلح الحديث الشريف. وهو عبارة عن تلخيص لكتاب ابن الصلاح المسمى : علوم الحديث، مع زيادة عليه. وقد قام أيضا بترتيبه على مقدمة وأربعة أطراف فجاء مشتملا على خمسة أمور وهي : التعريفات وأقسام المتن، والسند، وأسماء الرجال وكيفية تحمل الحديث. وهذه طبعة محققة.
