يتناول كتاب (الرد على من أخلد إلى الأرض وجهل أن الاجتهاد في كل عصر فرض) والذي قام بتأليفه الإمام جلال الدين عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر السيوطي، موضوع (الاجتهاد) الكتاب يبحث في إثبات أن الاجتهاد دائم ومستمر ولا ينقطع أبدا في أي عصر من العصور، ويرد فيه الإمام السيوطي على من أنكر ذلك، وجهل أن الاجتهاد فرض في كل عصر، من خلال إيراد أقوال للعلماء الأكابر من فقهاء المالكية في هذا الموضوع، وأن الدهر لا يخلو من مجتهد، والحث على الاجتهاد، وكذلك ذكر فوائد تتعلق بالاجتهاد، وفصول عديدة تتعلق بهذا الموضوع.
