هذان مصنفان في علم التوحيد، أحدهما موسوم بـ«أم البراهين» للسنوسي، وثانيهما شرح لها لتلميذه الملالي. إنهما كنز عظيم وذخيرة شريفة، إذ موضوعهما العقيدة، وهي علم مقصود بالذات، وغيره من العلوم وسيلة إليه وخادمة له. وهما أي المتن وشرحه يشهدان على صاحبيهما بسعة الاطلاع في العقائد إذ جاءا فيها بقيد الأوابد. فقد استوفيا الغرض دون إيراد التفريعات طويلة الذيل، والاستدلالات قليلة النيل، مما ابتليت به زبر علم الكلام، وأسفار أصول الدين وعقائد الأنام.
