كتاب في التصوف يشتمل على رسالة تتضمنن مجموعة من النصائح والتوجيهات يتوجه بها الحكيم الترمذي للسالك السائر في طريق محفوف بالشهوات حتى يلقى الله تعالى بجد والتزام واجتهاد وحزم. وهذا الكتاب هو في مجمله عبارة عن توجيهات للسالك لاتخاذ بعض الاحتياطات ليسلم في طريقه من جموح النفس، غير أن هذه الاحتياطات لم يسلم بعضها من بعض التزيد، وهي ربما تصلح لتكون تجربة شخصية لبعض الأفراد لا جماعية لأمة أخرجت للشهادة في عالم الشهادة.
