هذا العمل هو ثمرة جهد متواضع، احتوى على مجموعة من ألعاب الأطفال التي كانت سائدة في محافظة السويداء، والتي لا يزال بعضها يزاول حتى اليوم. وقد دفعني إلى جمع هذه الألعاب رغبة ملحة في حفظ هذا الجانب إلهام من تراثنا الشعبي، والذي يشكل جزءا من الذات الوطنية، إذ يمكن للمرء أن يقرأ فيه جانبا من الحركة الناهضة التي تؤلف المناشط الهامة في حياة شعبنا.
