[أهديك الشمس للذكرى] اقترب الجدي (مرملاد) من الكتكوت (فيو) مودعا، فساله الكتكوت : إلى أين أنت ذاهب؟ فقال له الجدي (مرملاد) : إني ذاهب إلى القرية، إلى جدتي، هناك سأمضي أشهر الصيف، أرجو ألا تنساني خلال فترة غيابي، خذ هذا الكتاب المصور، فإني أهديه لك للذكرى، سوف تقرأه ولن تشعر بالضجر وينقضي الوقت بسرعة. فقال الكتكوت (فيو) : حسنا .. ولكني لم أعرف أنك مسافر، ولذلك لم أشتر لك أية هدية، ماذا يمكن أن أهديك يا (مرملاد)؟؟ وفكر الكتكوت قليلا ثم قال : إني أهديك الشمس للذكرى. فقال الجدي (مرملاد) بدهشة : الشمس ؟! فقال الكتكوت (فيو) : نعم الشمس، التي تضئ السماء، فحين تصل إلى القرية سوف تنظر إلى الشمس وتتذكرني!!
