وضع هذا الكتيب في أعقاب عدوان الخامس من حزيران صحفي سوفييتي معروف هو «باقل دیمتشنكو»، كان قد قضى زمنا طويلا بيننا، قبل العدوان وأثناءه وبعده. وهو يجمع بين صفتين قلما تيسرنا الصحفي غيره هما دقة المعلومات وغزارتها من جهة ورشاقة الأسلوب الصحفي وطلاوته من جهة أخرى والكتيب إلى جانب ذلك وثيقة تفضح الصهيونية ومن هم وراءها في دسائسها ومكرها وما تضمره من شر. كما أنه يبين أن التقدميين المخلصين كانوا وما يزالون في صفنا، أي في صف العدالة والحق.
