Overview
يتضمن الكتاب مسرحيتان للأطفال تحتويان على الفائدة والحكمة، وهما قصة علي بابا والأميرة شمس النهار, وقصة أوبريت قلعة حلب. حيث تدور أحداث المسرحية الأولى حول الملك شهرمان وزوجته الملكة نور الزمان فهما حزينان على ابنتهما شمس النهار التي اختطفها الدردبيس وهو كائن غريب، ليزوجها من ابنه كسيلون. أما المسرحية الثانية فتمثل قلعة حلب الشامخة حيث تطل من أعلى القلعة عروس القلعة، بثوبها الأبيض الذي يلتمع تحت الأضواء، وعلى ذيل ثوبها وساعديها أجراس صغيرة كلما سارت أو حركت ساعديها ترن. والأطفال يلعبون ويملؤون المسرح حركة وصخبا.
