هذا الكتاب هو أول محاولة لدراسة الحركة الفنية في سورية لدى عشرين فنانا، تجاوزت شهرتهم سورية، بل الوطن العربي وتتميز الدراسة أول ما تتميز، في أنها تحاول التقاط الفكرة التي انطلق منها كل فنان، فهي محور لوحاته، وموطن أصالته، وبالنتيجة مرماه لا نهائية الخط وحرقة اللون، قد لا يرى القارئ رأي الناقد الشاب، ولكن لا يمكنه الا أن يسلك الطريق التي سلكها حتى النهاية ؛ فهو يستهويك بتنويع الموضوعات، وبالنظرة الثاقبة وهكذا نتعرف الى فن يحتل مكانا يزداد اتساعا وعمقا.
