أثبت أن تاريخ دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة ومميزة على الرغم من بساطة الحياة وقلة الإمكانيات لكن حب الخير كانت جذوره أعمق من أي تحديات واستمر هذا الاهتمام حتى قيام الاتحاد فكان لقطاع الأوقاف نصيب من عملية التطوير التي شملت كافة مجالات المجتمع فاهتمت الدولة بالوقف من جانبين أولهما الجانب التريعي وذلك بطرح قوانين تنظم الأوقاف وثانيا من الجانب الإداري بإنشاء مؤسسات وقفية تدير العمل الوقفي في الدولة فاحتوت طيات الكتاب على دراسة تحليلية تشريعية للقانون الاتحادي للوقف بالمقارنة مع القوانين المحلية التي سبقته في الإصدار كما تمت الإشارة إلى أفضل الممارسات في القوانين للاستفادة منها.
