رواية \"حلاب النجوم\" للكاتبة هبة عبد اللطيف هي رواية رعب وفانتازيا تدور حول الصراع الأبدي بين الخير والشر، تدور أحداث الرواية في قرية من قرى الصعيد، حيث يظهر رجل غامض يدعي أنه صاحب كرامات ويصبغ نفسه بصبغة الأولياء والصالحين، يتمكن هذا الرجل من السيطرة على جميع سكان القرية، ويقوم بأفعال شنيعة، منها اغتيال الأعراض والحرمات لينجب من الفتيات ويقدم ذريته قربانا للشيطان، تتمكن امرأة طيبة من إنقاذ ابنه من القتل كقربان، وتقوم الخالة جبونة الداية بإعطاء ابن حلاب النجوم لفاطمة ومحروس ليهربا به إلى القاهرة. هناك، يعيش ابن الحلاب وتظهر عليه قدرات غريبة، يظهر أهل العالم الآخر من مملكة الجن المحاربين للحلاب وشيطانه زهداش، ويأمر ملك الجن العلوي أحد أعوانه بمراقبة نوح ابن الحلاب ومنع زهداش من الوصول إليه، تتوالى الأحداث حتى المواجهة الأخيرة بين نوح وأبيه حلاب النجوم، حيث يصبح نوح شابا ويواجه أبيه في صراع حاسم بين الخير والشر.
