Overview
يأتي في الكتاب ما يقارب من 400 قصيدة وهناك ذكر لعدد 100 شاعر، وقد قسم كتاب هذا إلى عدة فصول أولها فصل قوافي الشعر في الحضور والغياب حيث الباب الأول في الحضور ونعني به مديح حكام الكويت ويليه القصائد التي قيلت في الرثاء بمسمى الغياب، وفصل ثان من بابين الباب الأول القصائد الوطنية وكلماتها تشيد بالوطن وتاريخه وبحكام الوطن في مناسبات الأعياد الوطنية وغيرها، أما الباب الثاني فيعرض فيه للقصائد الحماسية والتي لها وقع حربي، ويأتي فصل ثالث مهم ومكون من عدة أبواب وهو يعرض للقصائد التي قيلت في أحداث جسام مهمة مرت على الوطن وبقيت في الذاكرة.
