يعد \"كتاب اللاهوت الأدبي\" أحد أهم المراجع الكلاسيكية في الفقه الأخلاقي الكاثوليكي، وهو تعريب لملخص أعمال القديس ألفونسيوس ليكوري (أسقف مدينة القديسة آغاثي)، الذي اختصره الكاهن نيراغات. قام بنقله من اللاتينية إلى العربية الأب لويس أومينيا، الراهب الفرنسيسكاني والمرسل الرسولي في الأراضي المقدسة. يمثل هذا الكتاب جسراً فكرياً بين المدارس اللاهوتية الغربية والمجتمعات المسيحية الناطقة بالعربية في المشرق، حيث يقدم دستوراً أخلاقياً وسلوكياً مفصلاً يعالج قضايا الضمير، الأسرار الكنسية، والواجبات الدينية.
