قصيدة ملحمية طويلة تمثل واحدة من أوجع وأعمق الأعمال الشعرية في الأدب الإيراني المعاصر المترجم للعربية. يرثي فيها الشاعر \"رضا براهني\" صديقه الشاعر \"إسماعيل خويي\" (أو يرمز من خلال الاسم إلى رفيق نضال)، متخذاً من تيمة الفقد منطلقاً لتشريح الذاكرة السياسية والاجتماعية لإيران. تتسم القصيدة بلغة ثائرة، مركبة، وتجريبية، تمزج بين البعد السريالي والواقعية المؤلمة، حيث يستحضر براهني طقوس العذاب، والنفي، والاغتراب، محولاً مرثية الفرد إلى مرثية جيل كامل عانى من القمع والشتات. العمل يتجاوز كونه رثاءً شخصياً ليصبح بياناً شعرياً حول الحرية والموت والخلود عبر الكلمة.
