لتقاضي عن بعد هو نظام قضائي جديد يهدف إلى تطبيق إجراءات التقاضي للفصل في الدعاوى المدنية بدءاً من رفع عريضة الدعوى وصدور الحكم وتنفيذه بطرق غير تقليدية، أي بوساطة إستخدام وسائل الإتصال الحديثة لمواكبة حالة التطور التقني المعلوماتي من خلال تطويع وتوظيف القواعد العامة للعمل بتلك الوسائل التقنية المعلوماتية التي أثبتت كفاءتها في جميع المجالات والذي يساعد على إختصار الوقت والجهد والنفقات لكل دعوى وتجاوز حالة أطالة أمد الفصل فيها وتراكم القضايا التي تملأ مساحات كبيرة في المحاكم وإمتصاص حالة الزحام أي التواجد المادي لأطراف الدعوى وكل المعنيين في الحضور بما فيهم الجمهور.
