يتضح أن الكاتب أراد أن يثبت صحة نظرية التطور الداروينية من خلال الآيات القرآنية من باب أن العقل لا يتعارض مع النقل، ولكن كما يؤكد الكتاب نحن الذين أوجدنا هذا الفصل المتعسف بين العقل والشريعة لأننا أخذنا نقرأ القرآن دون أن نتدبر فيه. ويحتوى الإنسان على اثنى عشر بابا يوضح الكاتب من خلالهم مفهوم الداروينية بعرضه قصة التطور كاملة ثم بعد ذلك يعرض الكاتب لقصة الخلق فى الكتب المقدسة ليعثر على الحلقة المفقودة بين العلمى والشرعى فى هذه القصة.
