وفق محمد ساري في نسج معمار روائي محكم البنيان في روايته \"الغيث\"، فكل ما يحدث داخل الرواية له أسبابه المنطقية، ولا تحدث الأشياء صدفة أو من دون تحليل وعلى رغم اللمسة الغرائبية والعجائبية التي ميزت هذه الرواية، وكذلك الشطحات الصوفية والشعرية التي تميز الكثير من الفقرات فإن الرواية تظل أسيرة الواقع المادي وربما أرهقتها التفاصيل الطويلة المملة والأحاديث السياسية التي نشعر في أحيانا كثيرة أنها مقحمة، وفي غير مكانها مع ذلك تتميز الرواية بالكثير من الجماليات السردية وبرغبة الكاتب في الذهاب أبعد من محاولاته الروائية السابقة.
