Overview
يروي هذا العرض المسرحي قصة عامر (الشخصية الرئيسية في هذه المسرحية)، وهو شاب من قرية متواجدة بمنطقة القبائل، يهاجر إلى فرنسا خلال النصف الأول من القرن الماضي لسد احتياجات عائلته المعوزة. وبعد اتهامه بقتل أحد أقاربه داخل منجم للفحم، حيث كانا يعملان معا، قرر عامر الذي تزوج من ابنة هذا الأخير (ماري) العودة إلى أرض الوطن، إذ كانت تنتظره مأساة أخرى تعكس جانبا حيا من العادات السائدة بمنطقة القبائل التي تؤكد مدى أهمية الإنجاب من طرف الأزواج، للطموح في الحصول على ميراث العائلة والحفاظ على استمراريتها، فكان الاعتقاد السائد يقول إنه لا توجد مصيبة أشد من الموت دون ترك ورثة.
