تميز هذا الكتاب بخصائص قلما تتوافر في كتاب آخر أوجز بعضها في ما يأتي بسط القواعد الصرفية التي يحتاجها الطلبة في حياتهم اليومية والبعد عن القواعد النظرية الافتراضية التي لا وجود لها في وقتنا الحاضر ومحاولة بسط هذه القواعد بشكل وظيفي أي توظيف القواعد الصرفية لخدمة الطالب في القدرة على التعبير وهذا ما نقول عنه جعل القاعدة الصرفية وسيلة لا غاية والحرص الشديد على إزالة الجفاف الذي يسيطر على المادة الصرفية والبعد عن الخلافات الجدلية التي لا يفيد منها الطلبة وإيراد الأمثلة الصافية على كل قاعدة صرفية حتى يسهل فهمها وهضمها وإيراد تمرينات محلولة عقب كل باب ليسهل تطبيق المادة وكشف غوامضها.
