يمثل هذا المعجم كتابا جامعا لقواعد اللغة العربية مأخوذة من أمهات كتب اللغة، ومرتبة على نسق سهل، والغاية من ذلك الوصول إلى القاعدة بأسهل الطرق، لذا فقد سعت المؤلفة إلى الابتعاد عن التطويل، مدققة في إيراد المعاني، وتحرير العبارة، والأخذ بما يسهل فهمه من شرح وتفسير ومعان. هذا وأن أهم ما يمتاز به هذا المعجم أنه وضع وفقا للترتيب الأبجدي للحروف حيث يجد الباحث عن قاعدة نحوية ضالته وفقا لحرفها الأول. وأول ما يطالعه في المادة التعريف اللغوي ثم التعريف الاصطلاحي والأمثلة المتعددة التي تفي بشرح القاعدة ثم المصطلحات التي يتميز بها، فضلا عن الإعراب المجمل أو المفصل لما ورد فيها من تطبيقات.
