لا شك في أن كثيرا من المناهج والكتب التعليمية أخذت على عاتقها تيسير اللغة العربية بمهاراتها ومستوياتها وعناصرها، وحاولت الإفادة قدر الإمكان من منجزات علم اللغة الحديث واللسانيات التطبيقية غير أن الطريق ما تزال طويلة لبلوغ المرام في الإفادة العظمى من هذه التطبيقات التي تأخذ بيد المنهاج متى ما أتيحت الفرصة للقائمين عليه. وقد تصفح كاتب المقال كثيرا من المناهج والكتب التدريسية والتعليمية الموجهة إلى الناطقين بغير العربية، ووجد أن كثيرا منها يفتقر إلى منهج يقوم على فكرة تدريس التلازم اللغوي، وإدخاله في صلب الفلسفات والطرق التعليمية، فجاءت الدروس خلوا من تضمين التلازم بفروعه المتعددة: النحوية واللغوية والدلالية، ونتيجة لذلك خلت التدريبات والتمرينات من تطبيق هذه الفكرة أيضا.
