يقدم هذا الكتاب دراسة حول التأمين على الحياة ولقد نشأ التأمين في الغرب ومن أسباب نشأته إحجام كثير من رؤساء الأموال عن التجارة بسبب المخاطرة وبسبب حوادث الخسارة ونتيجة لهذا الإحجام تأثر الاقتصاد القومي وعلى إثره عمل المفكرون على إنشاء شركات التأمين حتى تضمن للتاجر المتاجرة وتؤمن له الخسارة للأقدار الطارئة مقابل مبلغ من المال يدفعه اشتراك يقدمه لشركة التأمين وتقوم بتعويضه إذا حصل له خسارة ويقع الكتاب في ثلاثة فصول الأول التأمين والثاني أنواع وأحكام والثالث التأمين على الحياة والفروق بين نظام التأمين التقليدي وبين نظام التأمين التكافلي الإسلامي.
