تناول الكتاب إن منهج الشريعة الاسلامية يعتني بعقل النشئ المسلم ويعلمه باعتبار ان العقل والعلم هما من أهم الوسائل المعينة على كسب المعرفة، وإذا عرف الانسان دينه منهاجا وسلوكا استقامة له الحياة، فإن الآيات والدلالات التي تنظم عقل المسلم وفكره، ترسم خطاه وعلاقاته الانسانية من حيث الجانب السلوكي التطبيقي لقوانين العقيدة بما يصنع مجتمعا إسلاميا يجمع بين السماحة والرحمة والعدل، لأن مفاهيم الاسلام تتفق مع الفطرة الانسانية التي فطر الله تعالي الناس عليها (فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفاً فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ وَلَكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ) (الروم: 30).
