يتناول كتاب \"المحاسبة النقدية في الفاقد والضائع\" والذي قاما بتأليفه\"الدكتور محمود علي أحمد إسماعيل، الدكتور إبراهيم جابر السيد أحمد\" في حوالي (355) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (المحاسبة)، في بداية الكتاب ينقل المؤلف تعريف بعض الفقهاء للنقد، وبعد ذلك يفرق بين مفهوم التنمية في الاقتصاد الوضعي الذي يقتصر على البعد المادي الاقتصادي وهو الإنتاج، وبين مفهوم التنمية في الاقتصاد الإسلامي الذي يشمل تنمية الإنسان من الناحية الاقتصادية والفكرية والروحية والأخلاقية، وبالتالي فإن السياسة النقدية في الإسلام تتمايز عن غيرها بأنها تعنى بشكل رئيسي بتنمية الناتج العام والمحافظة على قيمته الحقيقية.
