دراستنا تدور حول البحث في معاينة مسرح الجريمة من خلال شبكة المعلومات الدولية، وهي من الدراسات الحديثة التي تدخل ضمن منظومة الدراسات النظرية المتعلقة بالقانون الجنائي، لذا فقد واجهنا خلال الدراسة بعض الصعوبات والعوائق في تجميع المادة العلمية، بالإضافة إلى ارتباط الجرائم الإلكترونية (محل الدراسة) بالكمبيوتر والحاسبات الآلية، مما تطلب بالضرورة الإحاطة بمكونات الحاسب الآلي، وبنظام المعالجة الآلية للمعطيات والشبكات وبطرق الدخول، وكل ما يتعلق بهذه الجرائم من تقنيات وحداثة، وهذا تطلب جهدا فنيا فضلا عن الجهد القانوني. إلا أنه وبمشيئة الله وبالرجوع إلى العديد من المراجع ذات الصلة بالجرائم الإلكترونية، من مؤلفات متخصصة ورسائل علمية ومقالات وأبحاث أجنبية منشورة على المواقع الإلكترونية، وإجراء بعض المقابلات مع ذوي الاختصاص من الخبراء في الأردن، بالإضافة إلى تحليل بعض الوقائع والقضايا المعاصرة، وقضايا أخرى تم الاطلاع عليها بالرجوع إلى الدراسات الأجنبية، كل ذلك ساهم في تذليل العقبات، وإخراج هذه الدراسة إلى حيز الوجود.
