تتناول رواية (تغريبة يوسف : رواية) والتي قامت بتأليفها نبيلة الوليدي في حوالي (380) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (رواية) الرواية تخبرنا بحال يوسف المعتقل في السجن، بسبب آرائه وكفاحه المسلح ضد مغتصبي بلاده، وتصور لنا عذابه ومعاناته، حين أفاق يوسف من غيبوبته بعد زمن لم يحصه، ليجد نفسه مكوما في حجرة ضيقة مظلمة باردة .. لقد اعتبروه متمردا... أرادوا له الموت البطيء في غيابة سجن موحش !، استسلم يوسف لهذه النهاية... مصرع صديقه حمزة أمام عينيه بتلك الطريقة الوحشية أفقده جزءا من شعوره !... وبخشخشة رتيبة يفتح مجهول نافذة صغيرة، تقع أعلى باب الزنزانة... يصفع عيني يوسف بلمعان ضوء يحمله في يده... هو يجيء ويذهب حاملا إليه الماء والطعام، دون أن يميط اللثام عن وجهه أو ينبس بحرف... هجس يوسف متسائلا بعدما ركبه الهم، وأيقن بخلوده في هذه الحفرة التي تذكره بالقبر.
