تبدأ أحداث القصة في تلك الليلة التي كانت فاصلة في حياتي.. والتي لا يمكن أن أنساها ما حييت عندما انتزعني أبي من حضن أمي إلى جوار امرأة أخرى لأقضي بقية طفولتي وصباي وبعض شبابي... قد شكلت شخصي وهيمنت على طبعي وفكري.. وألزمتني إلزاما أن أواجه الحياة وحيدا. رغم كل من حولي. أب وإخوة وأخوات... وإن أجرع اليأس كل ليلة وأن أذوق الهوان.. فلا امتعض فقد حملتني رياح تلك الليلة البغيضة إلى هذا المكان... وما تركت لي فرصة لطريق غيره... أو حياة أخرى فمضت بي الحياة حتى استطعت أن أغير مجراها مبكرا عند أول بصيص أمل وعند أول انعطاف في طريق حياتي لأكمل الطريق دون آمالي العريضة والتي لم تتهيأ لها الأرض المناسبة... ولا القدوة ولا الراعي الملهم وحملت بين ضلوعي في مسيرتي تلك.. كل اليأس والمرارة لكنني صنعت فيها بيدي الأمل والهدف... والغاية... التفت إلى هذا الآن بعد أن حققت كثيرا من الذات والكيان فأبتسم لكن لا أستطيع محو علامات خطها الزمن فوق صدري... وفي عمق أعماق نفسي.. حتى وإن لم يعد كل هذا الآن. إلا ذكرى.
