يتخيل القارئ الكريم في هذا الكتاب حجم المهمة التي شرفت بها؟ ومخاطرها؟ وصعابها؟ وقد كان عملي في تنقيح الكتاب كالتالي، راعيت الاحتفاظ بترقيم البنود كما كانت حرصت على التمييز بين أصل الكتاب وبين الإضافات أما على الصعيد التشريعي قمت بتنقيح الكتاب وفقًا لأحكام قانون العمل الجديد رقم 12 لسنة 2003 وعلى الصعيد الفقهي قمت بالرجوع إلى كافة ما كتب في ظل قانون العمل سواء في المؤلفات العامة أو المتخصصة وأخيرا على الصعيد القضائي وتتبعت كافة أحكام محكمة النقض بشأن قانون العمل حتى عام 2009.
