صدر للكاتب يحيى محمد العمري روايته الأولى (اختطاف قلب) عن دار نقش للطباعة والنشر بصنعاء في (103) صفحة من القطع المتوسط. وقال العمري في حديث خاص مع (العربي) إن الرواية (تعالج بعض المشاكل الاجتماعية السائدة في مجتمعنا اليمني المتعلقة بالزوج كرفض بعض أولياء الأمور زواج بناتهم وأبنائهم من خارج الأسرة ووضع عراقيل متعددة أمامهم) وأضاف العمري أنها (تتحدث عن شاب كان يحلم بفتاه بمواصفات خاصة، وبينما هو غارق في أحلامه تظهر تلك الفتاة، ويتعلقان ببعض، لكنها بعد مرور سنوات من الحب تتزوج برجل آخر، فتغيرت نظرته إلى الحب نتيجة لذلك) تحاول الرواية أن تشخص الاختلالات المتعلقة بالزواج في المجتمع من أجل تقديم حلول معينة لها، كما أنها تحاول أن ترسم صورة واضحة لكيف ينبغي أن تكون العلاقة بين الذات والآخر عاطفيا واجتماعيا.
