كاتبة العمل راوية راشد فنجدها تفتح لنا كنزا تاريخيا لم يصل إليه أحد غيرها بعد أن قطعت رحلة شاقة من البحث عن ملفات وسجلات \"الملكة نازلي\" التي تركت مصر عام 1946 واتجهت إلي الولايات المتحدة الامريكية لتعيش هناك أكثر من ثلاثين عاما بعد أن اختارت حياة المنفي بكامل إرداتها لتعيش مع المجهول في بلاد بعيدة هي وأصغر بناتها الأميرة \"فتحية\" ولتقطع طريقا طويلا من الأشواك بعد ان تبددت ثروتها وتم إعلان إفلاسها وبيعت مجوهراتها الملكية في مزاد علني حتي انتهي بها الأمر إلي الحياة في حي الفقراء بضاحية (ويست وود) بلوس أنجلوس.
