كتاب في علم القراءات، تكلم فيه عن القراءات والمقرىء وما يلزمهما والقراءة الصحيحة والشاذة واختلاف العلماء في ذلك، وأن القراءات العشرة لا زالت مشهورة ولم ينكرها أحد من السلف ولا الخلف وسرد مشاهير من قرأ بها وأقرأ في الأمصار وأثبت فيه أن القراءات العشرة هي من الأحرف السبعة وأنها متواترة ورد على من اقتصر على القراءات السبع وعلى هذه الطبعة هوامش في ترجمة الأعلام.
