Overview
معجم الأمثال الفلسطينية للأستاذ حسين علي لوباني من المعاجم المعنية بالتراث. وقد تبين أن مجموعة من الأمثال هي إرث مشترك يتداوله الناس في لبنان وسورية والأردن... وقد كتب المثل ورسمت حروفه بالطريقة التي يلفظ بها، من غير زيادة أو نقصان، تجنبا لإخراجه بتفصيح كلماته... حفاظا على أسلوب تداوله من باب الأمانة للواقع وبعد إيراد المثل، يعمد واضع هذا المعجم إلى شرح الكلمات التي يقدر أنها بحاجة إلى توضيح ثم يتبع الشرح بالمناسبة التي يضرب فيها المثل والغاية منه، وكان في كثير من الأحيان يردف المثل بمثل آخر أو بقول مشهور، أو ببيت من الشعر... وكثيرا كان يجري الاستشهاد بآية قرآنية كريمة، أو بحديث نبوي شريف وقد تيسر للمؤلف جمع حوالى عشرة آلاف مثل من من الأمثال الفلسطينية في محاولة لحفظها من الضياع والتشرد والتشريد.
