(نجمة) هي الرواية التي يقول عنها كاتب ياسين : هل ماتت روحها الجزائرية لأنني كتبتها بالفرنسية وترتبط هذه الرواية بسيرة حياة كاتب ياسين والتي جعلت اسمه يلمع في عالم الأدب فكانت أروع ما كتب، حيث تحكي قصة أربعة شبان يقعون في حب نجمة، ابنة جزائرية وفرنسية، خلال فترة الاستعمار الفرنسي للجزائر، كما تجري معظم الأحداث الرواية في المنطقة المحيطة قسنطينة وعنابة.
