كتاب يتناول اللهجة العامية وهو ظاهرة الإبدال في لهجات الإمارات العربية المتحدة للباحث أحمد محمد عبيد المتخصص في الموروث الإماراتي ويعد الإبدال ظاهرة لغوية معروفة في جميع اللغات وهي تعني لفظ حرف مكان حرف في الكلمة نفسها دون أن يخل ذلك بمعناها وقد حفلت اللغة العربية في طورها الفصيح بكثير من المفردات الدالة على ذلك وانتقل هذا إلى اللهجات العربية الحديثة سواء أكانت الألفاظ الدالة على هذه الظاهرة قديمة قد بقيت فيها منذ أيام الفصحى، أم نشأت بعد ذلك حينما تحولت الفصحى إلى الطور اللهجي.
