تناولنا في ورقتنا البحثية موضوع ذاع صيته وهو تنامي ظاهرة الهجرة غير الشرعية في المنطقة الأورو- متوسطية، وهذا بهدف إظهار الأسباب المختلفة لها وأهم محاورها، ومدى تأثيرها على دول ضفتي المتوسط خاصة المغاربية منها. فقد أصبحت ظاهرة الهجرة غير الشرعية في المنطقة تتخذ أبعادا خطيرة، مما جعلها موضوع مختلف المؤتمرات الدولية من أجل إيجاد الآليات الفعالة للحد منها، وتقريب الرؤى بين الضفتين ومحاولة التعاون لتذليل الفوارق الحضارية بينهما.
