تهدف هذه الورقة إلى البحث في الأحزاب الحريرية الإسرائيلية، من خلال الانخراط في السجال النظري، ونقد بعض \"المسلمات\" السائدة حول ماهية هذه الأحزاب وعلاقتها بالصهيونية، وعبر تناول سؤال رئيس يتعلق بحدوث تحول في هذه الأحزاب باتجاه التطرف، وذلك من خلال تبني منهجية عابرة للتخصصات، واستنادًا إلى تحليل الخطاب الانتخابي لهذه الأحزاب. تجادل الورقة في مركزية الأحزاب الحريدية وتأثيرها في صناعة القرار الإسرائيلي، وبأنّ ما نشهده مؤخراً من مواقف متطرفة لدى الأحزاب الحريدية لا يعد تحولا، وإنما إعادة إنتاج للخطاب وكشفًا عن جوهر الحركة الصهيونية والاستعمار الاستيطاني الإسرائيلي، وهو أقرب إلى تديين الصهيونية أكثر منه إلى صهينة الأحزاب الحريدية.
